Business Analysis

KnowHow's experienced consultants provide their business analysis expertise to understand and identify customers informationm management requirements.  They will question the reason for requirements and challenge those where they feel more appropriate alternatives or alternative approaches might exist, offering them for consideration. The final requirements will be documented and agreed by the customer.

Solution Design

KnowHow's consultants are experts at understanding your business and technical requirements and producing a solution design to meet them, identifying all hardware and software components and the overall architecture of the solution.

Implement, Configure, Document and Test

Our implementation teams have extensive experience of implementing and then configuring the software technologies that form the designed solution, working in close co-operation with your own IT staff to ensure a transfer of knowledge and ownership of the solution following delivery.  KnowHow provides full documentation of the configured system that is second to none, providing a detailed technical definition of the solution.  All features of the delivered solution are fully tested to verify that it meets all business and technical, functional and performancerequirements of the customer. 

Develop, Integrate and Customise

Our experience is not limited to implementing and configuring the software. We have built some highly complex and AWARD-WINNING applications upon the capabilities of the underlying technology.

Our solutions often build upon the core functionality provided by the technologies we deploy, by including custom software modules written in the most apropriate technologies (typically including ASP.NET,VB.NET, C#,  XML) to implement additional or modified functionality, using the programming interfaces and customisation methods available.

KnowHow has built a great many application and database integrations for our solutions with other back-office systems, such as:

  • client/case integrations to practice management systems (e.g. APS-Advance, SOS Practice Manager and Solution6 CMS)
  • web content management systems for publishing documents (such as Broadvision)
  • custom Unix-based CAD systems (such as CATIA)
  • other database systems, such as SQL Server, MS Access, Progress and DB2 databases

Knowledge Transfer and Training

Throughout a KnowHow implementation project, your IT staff will form a part of the project team, so that the new system integrates with your existing technology base and that, as far as it is possible you are self-sufficient so that your technical staff can maintain, administer and re-configure the solution as required in future.  As part of the 'handover' you will also be provided with full, complete, 'as built' technical documentation on the delivered system and your business and technical staff will have received full training so they can get off to a flying start.

Support

KnowHow is able to provide you with ongoing support and assistance to help you after the system has been implemented.  A full range of support solutions is available, with different support options that can be combined to meet your own unique requirements.  All support options are completed according to an agreed SLA, to ensure you receive the levels of support that you require.
