KnowHow delivers the e-Filing System for Mewburn Ellis LLP

KnowHow, award-winning Open Text partner, has delivered the e-Filing System (eFS) for Mewburn Ellis LLP, one of the UK's largest firms of Chartered Patent Attorneys, European Patent Attorneys, European Trade Mark Attorneys and European Design Attorneys. The eFS is a highly-customised implementation of the Open Text eDOCS DM software that also incorporates Kofax Capture for scanning, which manages and presents all incoming paper and electronic documents and emails and outgoing documents and emails, in a single electronic file by case number. LK Shields Solicitors deploy Open Text eDOCS DM integrated with Axxia PMS, implemented by KnowHow

KnowHow, award-winning Open Text partner, has implemented the Open Text eDOCS DM software for Dublin-based law firm LK Shields, to provide a matter-centric document management system in which they will manage all documents firm-wide.  The system automatically subscribes responsible fee earners to their matters in eDOCS DM. Whenever a new matter is created within the Axxia Practice Management System (PMS), the matter details are first imported into eDOCS DM and then the relevant fee earner is automatically linked to the matter.

Westcity PLC switches to KnowHow to rejuvenate their eDOCS DM system

Westcity PLC switched from another eDOCS DM consulting partner to KnowHow.  Our eDOCS DM specialists then moved their eDOCS DM system to a new server environment, simultaneously upgrading to the latest version of DM and integrating Westcity's MS Office 2007 workstations.  The move was designed to future-proof Westcity's investment in the DM system, by aligning their technology platform with the Open Text product roadmap.

KnowHow provides LDA with a Document Management prototype system

KnowHow undertook a consultancy project for the London Development Agency (LDA), in which we advised the LDA on different technical approaches to revise their eDOCS EDRMS to meet their changing needs. As part of this project, we provided a prototype eDOCS DM system that used eDOCS DM Dynamic Views to meet their complex foldering requirements.

KnowHow migrates 1.3 million documents from iManage to Hummingbird DM, for Stephenson Harwood

When Stephenson Harwood merged with Sinclair Roche Temperley (SRT), they chose to stick with Hummingbird as the preferred vendor for DM, KM and Portal technologies to be used by the larger firm. The documents in the SRT libraries therefore had to be made available through the existing Hummingbird system. KnowHow imported over 1.3 million documents in nine Interwoven databases during one weekend, being updated by users right up to 5:30pm on Friday and available in the eDOCS DM system by 9:00am the following Monday. The task was successfully concluded by lunchtime on the Sunday.

KnowHow integrates SOS Practice Management with Hummingbird DM, for Field Seymour Parkes

Field Seymour Parkes commissioned KnowHow to build an integration between their Solicitors Own Software (SOS) practice management software which used a Progress RDBMS and Hummingbird DM system which used a SQL Server RDBMS. The integration was designed to import clients, matters, organisations and contacts, which were made available within DM to staff for profiling their documents.
